Inline Shear Pumps and Mixers
Scott Mixers manufactures a wide range of high performance, hgih shear inline wet pump and mills for producing emulsions, product smoothing, texturizing, and wet-milling applications. Our inline mixers take up less space than other kinds of tank mixer systems, are easy to maintain, and simple to operate.
Inline Mixers for Powder Incorporation and Dispersing
In the Scott Mixers CDM (Continuous Dispersion Mixer) mixing system, powder ingredients are added at a controlled rate from either a volumetric or loss-in-weight (LIW) feeder. Dry ingredients merge with a metered liquid feed stream in a powder liquid interface device and are immediately drawn into the high shear mixer. The unique design of the powder-liquid interface eliminates plugging and minimizes air entrainment into the process.
The Scott Mixers Vacu-Blend generates strong vacuum rates, pulling in powders and dispersing them lump-free into the liquid stream. Powders can be conveyed from a variety of sources; wanding from small bags or drums, manual bag addition directly to the mixer hopper, or integrated with bulk bag unloading systems.
The Vacu-Blend will reduce batch times by up to 90% while improving the consistency and quality of the product
