PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
The DWO operates as an open-impeller centrifugal pump, efficiently transferring liquids that may contain suspended solids up to ¾″ in diameter (spherical).
The open impeller design reduces the risk of clogging and allows for smooth passage of solids-laden fluids, making it well-suited for handling dirty or viscous liquids. Its top centerline discharge ensures effective self-venting, while the close-coupled motor configuration minimizes alignment issues and simplifies installation.
A back pull-out construction allows servicing of the impeller and mechanical seal without disturbing connected piping, reducing downtime and maintenance costs.
