DWU/DWXU Dominator Sump & Effluent Pump

The EBARA DWU and DWXU Dominator Series submersible sump and effluent pumps are engineered for durability, reliability, and efficiency in demanding residential, commercial, and light industrial applications. Constructed from corrosion-resistant 304 stainless steel, these pumps deliver long-lasting performance while handling solids up to 2" in diameter.

Available in both single and three-phase configurations, the DWU / DWXU series is designed for continuous duty and dependable operation in sump, wastewater, and drainage systems. With automatic or manual models, these pumps offer flexible installation options to meet a variety of site requirements.

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION

The DWU and DWXU are submersible centrifugal pumps designed for handling wastewater, effluent, and liquids containing suspended solids. Each pump uses either a single-channel or vortex impeller, depending on the model, to efficiently move fluids while reducing clogging and wear.

The motor is a 2-pole, continuous-duty submersible type equipped with Class F insulation for thermal protection. An integrated double mechanical seal with Viton™ elastomers prevents leakage and protects internal components, while shielded, pre-lubricated ball bearings (rated for 50,000 hours) ensure long service life and smooth operation. These pumps can operate fully submerged and are available in automatic (float switch) or manual configurations for flexibility in application.
